Building an effective and successful safety plan starts with senior management commitment . There are basic elements to a written safety
plan. The very first element starts with a Management Statement in support of safety program.

safety program, there are several guides to which you can look, but the most effective safety program (which is the implementation of the
written safety plan) is one that is tailored to the specific needs of your organization.

specific safety programs, such as hazard communication, workplace violence, personal protection equipment, etc....but these specific
program elements are not a comprehensive safety plan all by themselves. The true safety plan sets forth a
plan by which the company seeks
to lessen its risks and reduce accidents.
