BUILDING A BETTER SAFETY PROGRAM
Management Commitment Statement

The Management Commitment statement must set forth management  expectations
regarding safety in the workplace. Management must be committed to a workplace
that is free and clear of safety hazards. Management must make sure that all
employees are committed to the  goal of an accident-free workplace. Management
must give supervisors the prerequisite authority to enact rules and provide
discipline to achieve an accident-free workplace. Management provide the necessary
resources to support the safety goals of the organization.

It is recommended that the Management Commitment statement be made by the
President or Chief Executive Officer for the company. While a signature is not
required for the Statement page, it helps to reinforce the authenticity of the
    Management Statement.
